The staff and students there were very welcoming and treated me like I had lived there my entire life. Trion offers plenty of academic opportunities like BETA Club and the Academic T group plus there are athletic teams and community service groups. I have been able to excel in the classroom with a 4. 0 GPA, play two varsity sports, enjoy several clubs, and I have been able to participate in Special Olympics and Community Kitchens. Trion High School is a hidden gem in Northwest Georgia, and I think it is the best school in the state. Trion City Schools is Pre-k through 12th Grade. It's a single A school, therefore it's small. However, the atmosphere is astounding. Due to being small, you get more one-on-one time with teachers, make close and lasting friendships, and you grow up in a school system that is more than just peers, it's a family.

The former Vertex site has 20 heavy industrial cranes on-site and rail components as well as "direct connectivity" to the Port of Wilmington, he said. Steger also lauded the region's available workforce and ease of recruitment to the area. "We've seen consistent interest. We've just had some travel issues with COVID, " Steger said. "We've seen interest within the U. S. … but additionally we've seen international interests that just couldn't get here and still can't get here. " IRG has seen interest from prospects, including manufacturers needing the rail and port access, he said, adding, "it's really a nice combination … we have seen clients from all spectrums. "
